Winner of Iran-France film fest to receive €2000 cash prize

The Iranian Cinema Festival of Chantilly in France has planned to dedicate a cash prize to the winner of the 2021 edition of the event.

The organizers of the festival announced that the winner of this year’s edition will bag a €2000 cash prize.

After publishing the call and receiving the films, a lineup of seven works will be selected from the submitted works and will be screened at the festival with subtitles, in the presence of directors.

The members of the jury panel are yet to be introduced, while renowned Iranian filmmaker Abolfazl Jalili heads the jury panel.

The Iranian Cinema Festival of Chantilly offers a platform for talented Iranian directors to introduce their works to the world arena.

A panel of Iranian and French jurors is set to select seven films from among the submitted movies to take part in the festival’s competition section.

The first edition of the festival will take place on November 4-7, 2021.
